Target’s “Ula Ula” commercial is annoying music to our ears

Have you seen Target's commercial titled Summer Prep which uses the song Ula Ula by Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas? If the answer to that question is that you haven't, leave now and come back to our site on a different day. Avoid this commercial at all costs. If you're one of the lucky few that hasn't seen this commercial on a loop, count your blessings.

Target's goal of targeting (pun!) the Spanish community isn't a bad one. In fact, it's kind of refreshing to see a song from a foreign language used by such a large company and used so prominently in a commercial. The problem here lies in the song itself and the fact this commercial reaches new levels of annoying when seen repeatedly in a night.

Ula. Ula, Ula. Please, no more Ula. I don't even know what Ula is, but please make it stop. Nothing against your song, but this commercial now falls into the "Instant Mute" category due to the fact repeated viewings lead to anger and insanity.
