Burger King Israel is getting sexy on Valentine’s Day.
AdWeek reports BK will be offering an ‘Adults Meal,’ that comes in a specialized box, much like a kids meal. The box comes with two Whoppers, two french fries, two beers and a romantic adult toy on the inside.
“Kids have got their ‘Kid’s Meal.’ But what about grownups? Adults? Shouldn’t they have their own meal too? At least on Valentine’s?” the chain asks.
The adult toys aren’t as risque as one might think, fortunately.
The lineup includes a sleep mask, a feathery toy, and a head scratcher. I can’t imagine the trouble BK Israel would be in if they put sexier items like condoms or other adult toys. With the chosen toys, they convey the sexy message without grossing out customers.
The ‘Adult Meal’ is only available for purchase after 6 p.m. – a great idea considering kids won’t be coming in without parental supervision at that time.
The ad campaign is bizarre but great.
Burger King is the last place I’d expect to sell ‘Adult Toys.’ However, the ad is fun and it’s a hilarious attempt to get in on Valentine’s Day action. But let’s be real. If you take your partner out for Valentine’s Day dinner at Burger King, you’ve already taken the L.
