Snoop Lion, Andrew Luck and FIFA 13 invite you to join the club

The FIFA series from EA has produced some incredible advertisements during its reign as the best selling sports franchise in video game history. From their spot for FIFA '11 (here) that pitted superstar against superstar to their "Ten Million" ad for FIFA '10 (here) that was arguably one of the most entertaining ads of the year – especially if you're a soccer fan – EA has set the bar incredibly high for themselves.

This year FIFA invites you to "Join the Club" in a spot that highlights Lionel Messi, Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts (Futbol meets Football) and Snoop Lion (AKA Snoop Dogg). The video above is a short spot by EA's standards, checking in at just 30 seconds. It also lacks the majestic feeling we've come to expect from an EA ad. We weren't left in awe nor were we fired up for the game of soccer like we usually are after taking in a FIFA ad. It's safe to assume EA has more up its sleeve heading into FIFA 13's September 25th release date – at least, we hope so.

GameStop also put out a spot for their preorder bonus, an advertisement we were tipped off on by Jtdvorak on Twitter. The odds of unlocking Lionel Messi, arguably the world's best player, increase with the preorder which might cause you to celebrate by knocking over everything in your room. Unfortunately, real life celebrations like this also come with a very real mess.
