GE goes Back to the Future

GE wants to show you that the future might be a little closer than you might think. In their latest effort the company called on a familiar voice (Michael J. Fox) and a familiar vehicle (a DeLorean) to show that GE's gas turbines can help predict and power whatever the world needs. According to GE, the future is right in front of us.

It's pretty awesome seeing the ol' time machine with its iconic OUTATIME license plate again. Add in Marty McFly's voice and you have a great trip down memory road (Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads). Bonus points are awarded for working in 1.21 gigawatts rather naturally into the ad copy.

This isn't the first time GE has linked up with a movie franchise. You may have seen a spot with Agent Smith from the Matrix also promoting some of GE's futuristic technology.
