Kmart is continuing a strong year of funny viral ads. After the success of "shipped my pants" and "big gas savings" the department store took on a more challenging and expansive topic – yo mama jokes. Except this time instead of hurling insults at one another, the ad features young elementary school children complimenting their mothers' terrific choices by shopping at Kmart.
The script for the spot is great, but how awesome are these children? The kid slapping himself in the forehead has to be up for the commercial equivalent of an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. And the random stretching gym teacher at the end with the whistle and high socks makes you just the right amount of uncomfortable in taking you back to grade school yourself.
