The Will Ferrell Old Milwaukee Super Bowl ad you probably didn’t see

Old Milwaukee has done it again. The beer company that once aired hilarious ads with Jose Canseco in just a handful of markets during the MLB All-Star break was back at it for the Super Bowl, running a steamy ad with Will Ferrell that makes the Go Daddy kiss look tame.

According to Yahoo! Sports, the ad where Ferrell swaps some spit with a fellow bus passenger only ran in select parts of Texas, Oklahoma and Montana.

This isn't the first time Ferrell has done a Super Bowl spot for Old Milwaukee. During last year's game, the two sides partnered up for an ad that only aired in North Platte, Nebraska.

Give Old Milwaukee credit – they know exactly how to "cheat" the system. Why spend millions and millions on a Super Bowl ad when you can instead restrict where your ad with a famous celebrity airs, counting on the Internet to spread the word for free? Brilliant marketing.
