Duracell’s moving ad with the Seahawks’ Derrick Coleman

Duracell and the Derrick Coleman of the Seattle Seahawks have teamed up and created the best battery commercial we've ever seen. Coleman has been deaf since he was three and has faced plenty of adversity on his road to the NFL.

Despite plenty of people counting him out, Coleman pressed on and kept pursuing his dream with the help of his hearing aids. Duracell used this incredible story to promote its batteries and their new Trust the Power Within slogan.

"They didn't call my name. Told me it was over. But I've been deaf since I was three so I didn't listen."

Simply outstanding. Battery commercials usually aim high and try to demonstrate just how important they are, but the ads usually fall well short of the mark. Here, thanks to Coleman's incredible story and delivery, this ad flies higher than any other battery commercial before it.
